Cookie'Z International Dinner Salad (Lower-carb)

Today,  June 3rd, I thought up this idea for a special salad that will mystify by content; it had to be unusual, delicious, complex, healthful, stranger-friendly, and absolutely must make me laugh for thinking it up or it's no fun. It must also require simple colorful ingredients with global flavors.

The number of items was the first laugh. You know you CAN overdo something till it's confusing and the flavors fight in the pool. But that's the beauty of this salad. The ingredients compliment each other, but are so many that all you're left with is the kitchen sink. Overall, it is cinchy. Go ahead. Improvise, substitute, but not too much. You might lose the magic. So here it is, my friends.
(I admit that I didn't do this alone. My Chief and Lord was right beside me.)

Cookie'Z International Salad

In a medium glass or plastic bowl, combine-
2 count 13 oz. Pan seared Smoked Turkey Sausage horizontally and very thinly sliced
1 cup quartered or halved toasted pecans and/ or whole pistachios
1 tray halved grape tomatoes
1 thinly sliced Gala or Pink Lady apple

3/4 cup each:
drained and halved black olives
halved purple grapes
chopped cauliflower
slivered Red onion
ribboned basil

1/4 cup each:
shredded or cubed mozzarella
crumbled Feta cheese
Room temp Frozen Sweet Peas

1/4 cup Asian or Sesame Dressing and 1/4 cup Caesar Vinaigrette. I can make my own, but this time, before I lost my nerve,  I opted for speed and a light version such as Kraft Toasted Sesame (lite) Other brands have their version as well.

Cover with a tight lid and chill for at least 30 minutes.
Unless you're cutting way back on the carbs, serve warm bread or your favorite soup cracker. But if you ask me, it doesn't need any gluten.
Let me know how it turned out. Careful. It's addicting.

Thank you! You rule in my book!
Feel free to share and comment so I can keep posting delectable peculiarities. I kept special friends in mind. Even those who can't fry water. You know who you are.

TRIVIA question that has absolutely NO relativity to this specific recipe!

What tragedy with legendary character  mentioned in a 1970 song lyric on the same month and day I posted this recipe?

There is a prize for the first one who gets it right when posting it on this blog page!
